First Aid for Parents
This is a practical two hour first aid session and is perfect for parents, grandparents, childminders etc. The session will give you the confidence to deal with the common medical emergencies that can be experience with children and infants. You will learn vital life saving skills such as CPR and dealing with a choking incident. All our sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced instructors.
The session covers:
- CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) for adults, children and infants.
- Dealing with an unconscious person
- Choking
- Wounds & Bleeding
- Fractures
- Medical conditions, e.g. seizures, meningitis, temperature control
- First Aid Box in the home
- Opportunity for questions & answers

We are delighted to announce our autumn schedule for our 'First Aid for Parents' course. This short two hour course can help Mums, Dads, Grandparents and carers deal with the common medical emergencies that we can experience whilst caring for children and infants at home. Vital life saving skills will also covered e.g. CPR and how to deal with a choking incident. We deliver this session at various locations throughout the country.
